Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting operations, including account reconciliation and financial statement preparation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate billing and payments.
- Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis to help drive strategic financial decisions.
- Maintain and update internal financial policies and procedures.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and accounting software to streamline financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification is a strong plus, but not mandatory for immediate consideration.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
