In this pivotal role, you will oversee critical accounting functions, ensure compliance with GAAP standards, and provide insightful financial analysis to support executive decision-making. You will work in a collaborative environment that values transparency, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, to maintain precise financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings, ensuring full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial controls.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and monitor variance analysis to forecast financial performance.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely reporting to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, auditing principles, and tax regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
