Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounting, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit cycle.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in budget preparation for various departments.
- Maintain an organized and accurate filing system for all financial documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
