Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger maintenance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with reconciliation tasks
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and tax preparations
- Create financial forecasts and budgetary models for department heads
- Maintain compliance with SEC regulations and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven track record of SOX compliance implementation
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience managing cross-functional financial projects
