Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end/quarter-end closes and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Develop financial models and reports to support strategic decision-making
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements initiatives
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles for departmental operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
- Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functionality
- Proven track record of process optimization and cost reduction
