Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations for Texas operations
- Collaborate with auditors and support internal control improvements
- Lead financial forecasting and cash flow management initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with high accuracy
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
