Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Assist in external audits and coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide necessary documentation.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to the development of departmental policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification or active pursuit thereof is highly desirable.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
