Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial reports, variance analyses, and budget forecasts for executive leadership.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions.
- Assist with external audits and internal control reviews to ensure full compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and implement best practices.
- Review and approve journal entries and maintain the fixed asset register.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
