Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Oversee the general ledger, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with tax preparation, filings, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and operational support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate status strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
