Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist with corporate tax preparation, planning, and filing requirements.
- Perform internal audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training on accounting software and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder reporting.
