Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare complex financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and anomalies.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and corporate audits.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and accruals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
