Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and ensure timely remittance.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during annual reviews.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and manage payroll support functions.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
