Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Coordinate year-end audit processes and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and evolving tax regulations
- Lead cross-departmental financial reporting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (including pivot tables)
- Demonstrated experience with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Immediate availability to start within 7-10 days
