Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end audits, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and work with external auditors to ensure a seamless audit process.
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships to ensure liquidity.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure all timesheets are approved.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
