Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with precision.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and external audit schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is highly preferred but not mandatory for immediate consideration.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of internal controls and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
