Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations, including bank and credit card statements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal, and state regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and forecasting.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and audit trails.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
