Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and P&L statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits and tax filings.
- Streamline accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to improve cash flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and forecasting.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
