Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analysis, and budgets.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable operations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Collaborate with the tax team on quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not mandatory for this immediate hire role.
