Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for external audits and tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Implement and improve internal controls and financial processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing variance analysis and insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Excellent understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
