Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation and analysis
- Lead complex account reconciliations for multi-entity operations
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for 150+ employees
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual engagements
- Develop and maintain robust financial reporting systems
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Deep expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Proven track record in process optimization and cost reduction
