Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and review internal controls to mitigate risk and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with management to develop accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
