Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage complex account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct audits and ensure regulatory compliance (SOX, SEC)
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state taxation and regulatory reporting
