Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage general ledger operations including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Develop financial models and forecasts for strategic decision-making
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Lead month-end close procedures with accurate reporting deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Proven experience managing financial audits and compliance projects
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
