Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support compliance planning and reporting
- Develop financial models and variance analyses to inform strategic business decisions
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with strict deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting and analysis projects
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders
- Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Experience in multi-state taxation and regulatory compliance
