Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with attention to accuracy and compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement audit recommendations
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and documentation
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and team training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage month-end close and reconcile complex accounts
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
