Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all general ledger accounts are accurately balanced.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct internal financial audits and support external auditors during year-end reviews.
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to senior management.
- Process journal entries and maintain fixed asset schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- CPA certification or CPA candidacy is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
