Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely vendor payments
- Prepare detailed financial statements for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and analysis
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) to streamline financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience a plus)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-finance leaders
