Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and submit accurate tax filings in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes to ensure timely transactions
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead audit preparations and respond to financial inquiries from stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate sector
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial information clearly
