Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Conduct thorough financial audits and reconciliation of accounts to identify discrepancies.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Assist in tax preparation and ensure all regulatory filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and training to junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification or active CPA candidate status is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
