In this position, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial health, ensuring compliance, and driving business decisions through accurate data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Lead the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- CPA certification or CPA candidacy is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
