Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely posting of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, identifying variances and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring all reconciliations are completed accurately.
- Collaborate with the internal audit team to facilitate external audits and implement internal controls.
- Conduct variance analysis and present detailed financial reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
