Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Support the month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and accruals.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and support for budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
