Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end monthly and annual close process, ensuring absolute accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements.
- Prepare complex variance analyses and reports for executive leadership to drive business insights.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows to maintain healthy cash flow and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide requested documentation efficiently.
- Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for multiple departments.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations as well as internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification is highly preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Proficiency with advanced accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
