Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, managing general ledger activities, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations. Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in the budgeting process.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Collaborate with the internal audit team during year-end reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
