Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 client portfolios, including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with SOX compliance focus
- Lead tax preparation and planning initiatives for corporate entities
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance on GAAP standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory changes
- Excellent communication abilities for client/stakeholder interactions
