Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and providing requested documentation.
- Oversee the month-end close process, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and variance analysis.
- Conduct budget reviews and provide financial forecasting to senior management.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the UK market.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team.
