Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure the accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and prepare variance reports against the forecast.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Review and reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and intercompany transactions.
- Support external audits and strengthen internal control environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
