Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy of all journal entries, reconciliations, and account balances.
- Compliance & Auditing: Assist in external and internal audits, ensuring all financial records and processes meet compliance requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support budget preparation.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure liquidity and accuracy of cash positions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
