Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounting and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for management review.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to budget and forecast financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification or CPA candidate status is strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
