Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurate and posted timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of local, state, and federal tax filings and schedules.
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with the payroll and procurement departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
