Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and general ledger account analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis and present financial findings to management to support decision-making.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure all documentation is organized and accurate.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and manage depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
