Responsibilities

- Lead month-end closing processes and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Manage tax compliance filings and support external audit requirements
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budget planning
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on financial systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit procedures
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
