Responsibilities
- Manage daily, monthly, and year-end accounting operations and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes and efficiency.
- Support internal audits and provide necessary documentation as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
