As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial integrity, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and providing strategic insights to leadership. We value accuracy, efficiency, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare complex financial statements, variance analyses, and budget reports for executive review.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to implement process improvements and automation tools.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
