Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage complex reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and intercompany transactions
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements to enhance financial operations
- Support external audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems for efficiency and data integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end/close procedures
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls documentation
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
