Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee daily general ledger accounting operations and maintain the chart of accounts.
- Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and review accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and audit schedules.
- Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
