Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger reconciliation and ensure all account balances are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and support external audit requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Maintain compliance with company financial policies and federal/state regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a high-volume setting.
