Responsibilities
- Oversee daily general ledger accounting functions and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles to ensure timely processing and accurate record-keeping.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist in the annual audit process.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and assist with payroll processing coordination.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
