Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing
- Prepare accurate financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations while implementing process improvements
- Lead budget forecasting and expense tracking initiatives across departments
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public company exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven track record in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
