Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements for financial transactions
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial workflow efficiency
- Maintain detailed documentation for all financial transactions and controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Demonstrated experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with daily payroll processing systems a plus
